Ready or Not, Colorado Could Face Cowboys in Vegas Tournament Next November

After a Dome of Doom matchup with the Cowboys that resulted in Wyoming not only beating Colorado 56-33, but holding the Buffalos to nine second-half points, Colorado basketball coach Tad Boyle has refused to even discuss resuming the series between the two schools. That is changing. Colorado is scheduled to play in the MGM Resorts Main Event in Las Vegas Nov. 25 and Nov. 27 next year, in a field that has since been firmed up to also include Clemson and TCU, as well as Wyoming. The tournament will provide for each of the four teams to also have two home games against other opponents — much like the Cowboys hosted Grambling and Niagara in November in November this season before playing Boston College and Richmond in the Fort Myers (Fla.)
